Specifications can be wrong or outdated

Photograph and signature requirements — dimensions, file size limits, background colour — change between recruitment cycles and are set entirely by the conducting body, not by us. Each tool page states whether its figures are documented (individually confirmed against a specific notice) or a family default (the common pattern for that category of exam). Family-default figures are a starting point, not a guarantee. Always cross-check against the "Photograph and Signature" section of your own official notification before uploading a file.

No guarantee of acceptance

Meeting the dimensions and file size shown on this site does not guarantee that a portal will accept the resulting file. Recruiting bodies can and do reject uploads for reasons outside pixel dimensions and byte count — background colour, photo age, headgear, and other criteria described in your notification.
