Privacy Policy

The short version

Photo20KB does not have a file upload feature. Your photograph and signature are cropped, resized and compressed entirely inside your own browser using the Canvas API. The image is never sent to our server or to any third party — there is no code path in this application that could do that, because there is no server-side processing of any kind. You can disconnect your device from the internet after this page loads and the tool will keep working.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect, store or see the photographs or signatures you process.
• We do not require sign-up, accounts, or passwords, and we do not collect any personal information to use the tool.
• We do not use analytics or tracking scripts on this site at present.

What the server does log

This site is a static export served by a standard web server (nginx). Like virtually every website, the server records basic request logs for its own operation and security — the page requested, the date and time, and technical details such as IP address and browser user-agent. These logs are not linked to any photo you process, because your photo is never part of the request.

Cookies

Photo20KB itself does not set any cookies. If advertising (such as Google AdSense) is enabled on this site in the future, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. This policy will be updated before any advertising goes live.

Third-party links

Pages on this site link to official government recruitment portals (SSC, UPSC, Passport Seva, and similar) for reference. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Children's privacy

This tool is intended for use by exam applicants and does not knowingly collect information from children. Since no personal data or files are collected at all, this applies equally regardless of the user's age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, when advertising is enabled — the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
